In order to maintain a healthy, safe, clean and happy work environment all employees are urged to follow certain basic guidelines that are mentioned below:
Smoke Free Zone
BTSL Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. company premises are strictly ‘no smoking’ area. Any employee, who wishes to smoke, should use the smoking area in the outside building, and ensure that no inconvenience is caused to any other employees because of their smoking. Also, employees should use mouth fresheners before returning to the office after their smoke.
Prohibition on use of Alcohol and Drugs
Consumption of Alcohol / drugs is strictly prohibited at the premises of BTSL Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. Employees are not allowed to come to office in an inebriated state. Any employee who violate this clause would face strict action
Clean Work Place
The company / office are a common area which is used by all employees. It is the responsibility of every individual employee to maintain a clean work area. The company will ensure that the premises remain clean at all times, but the employee must take responsibility for his / her own desk / work area. Employees must try to avoid stacking too much paper, throw away waste etc.
Employees must also maintain a clean pantry / cafeteria. They must clean up after eating throw away leftover food in the designated dustbins etc. Any spillage etc. must be reported to the housekeeping staff to clean up immediately.
Maintaining Personal Hygiene
It is the individual employee’s responsibility to inculcate and maintain high standards of personal hygiene. This is not only for the individual’s cleanliness and health, but also for others.
Voice / Noise Levels in the Company
As mentioned earlier in this policy, the company / office are a common area meant for all employees. Each individual should take care of his / her voice levels while speaking to each other / speaking on the phone – so as to ensure that others in the company / office are not disturbed.
Representation of the Company
All employees are representative of the company. As such they must present themselves in a manner befitting the company. They must at all times be aware of the details of the company like the business, the management, etc. They must at all times prepare for meetings (especially with outsiders), conduct business honestly and ethically and should never misrepresent facts about the company / business.
